Moonstone

The taste of you 

was bone marrow on toast;

decadent, 

animal,

richness that sustains.

You captivated my tongue.

I craved you.

Hard, 

mineral,

smoky quartz;

you were pellucid, dark,

moonlight 

inside me.

You bent me over

like a moonbeam

and I shone

like moonstone.
